+ Why should You work with Bold & Pop?

Because we’re the bomb-digs and we want to be your new biz bffs! In all seriousness though, we’re invested in seeing your business succeed and want to help you however we can -- whether that’s designing your logo, new website or creating an awesome social media campaign. We’ve created our services around you and how we can use our expertise to help you. We want the process to be as easy and approachable as possible, because hey, you have biz goals to crush!

+ Where are you based?

Our Bold & Pop founders Anna Osgoodby and Mallory Musante are based in Seattle, WA and Raleigh, NC. Bold & Popping coast-to-coast!

+ What are your office hours?

Our office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm EST. Our evenings, weekends and holidays are reserved for our dogs, donuts and a little downtime.

+ What types of businesses do you work with?

We’ve been lucky enough to work with businesses across the board from side-hustlers all the way up to the big boys (and girls.. duh!) While we’ve worked on a variety of clients we’d agree our specialty is within the lifestyle space working with small businesses.

+ Do you have to be local to work with you?

Not at all! We’d actually say most of our clients are not local -- thank you Internet! While we love meeting your smiling faces in person, we can accomplish your projects through calls, emails, and video conferences (if you’re into that)!

+ Do you work with international clients?

Yes! The perk to working in a digital age is that we can work with clients from around the world. Oh heyyyy world! Our timezones may be different, but our process and work is the same!

+ Do you accept guest blog posts?

Right now we don’t offer guest posts on our blog, but we do offer something else that’s pretty cool (we may be a little biased)! We launched the Bold Boss Tribe community and blog series to feature the stories of fellow biz owners, side hustlers, bloggers and artists and would love to share your story. If you have an awesome story we’d love to hear it! You can learn more about the Bold Boss Tribe and how to submit your story here:

+ What is your freelance network?

We created a hand-picked freelance network to partner up on projects per our clients’ needs. While our co-founders handle most of our projects in-house, we team up with skilled freelancers on a project basis when we need extra pairs of hands or help with their specialty.

+ How do I become a freelancer in your network?

To be considered for our freelance network, please email us at with your specialities, samples of your work, and types of projects you think you’d be a good fit for. When we have projects open up in your specialty we will contact you for further info and availability.

+ What do I need to do to prepare to work with you?

Once we have talked with you about your needs and goals and you have filled out our questionnaire, we will need the following assets for your branding and web design project:

  • Brand style guide (fonts, colors, etc.) if you have one
  • Copy for your website
  • Images and graphics to include on the website
  • Create a Squarespace account and provide us with your login information
  • Login details for external services (Any external services we will be integrating to your website. Examples: domain name, email administrator accounts, email marketing logins, etc.)

This allows us to get an idea of layout and we can hit the ground running as soon as we have all your assets!

+ Do you provide copywriting services for my website?

Generally our clients are responsible for all copywriting for their websites. If you need copywriting services we are happy to add that to your package for an additional fee.

+ What platform do you build your websites on?

We specialize in Squarespace web design at Bold & Pop. We love to work with Squarespace because the platform allows us to create a beautiful website that works just the way you’d like and also has a user-friendly back-end. Win, win! We prefer the platform (and so do our clients) because they can walk away after launch and their training session knowing how to make text edits, swap out photos, add blogs posts, and add products to their shop. We think you should understand how your website works and be able to make edits without having to email your designer for every small edit. Of course we’re just a call or email away if you have any questions, would like maintenance services or additional graphic design support.

+ Do you work with any other web design platforms other than Squarespace?

Squarespace is our bread and butter when it comes to web platforms. While we occasionally design through Wix if our clients request it, we try and stick to our specialty.

+ What types of websites do you build on Squarespace?

Squarespace is really versatile in it’s uses which is just one reason we love them so much! Some of the different types of websites we can build on Squarespace include:

  • Ecommerce
  • Blog
  • Simple websites
  • One page website (scrolling or landing/cover page)
  • Portfolio website

+ How long do your projects take to complete?

Our branding and web design projects range from 2 weeks to 8 weeks to complete. We will always provide a timeframe in your proposal based off your project’s specific needs.

+ My design aesthetic isn’t colorful or girly… can I still work with Bold & Pop?

Absolutely! While we’re big fans of color and a lot of clients come to us because of that aesthetic, that doesn’t mean you need to have that aesthetic too! We’ve worked on a number of projects ranging in designs and will make sure you get just the look you want for your project! Feel free to inquire about additional portfolio samples if you’d like to see an additional variety of our projects.

+ Will you set up my domain name and my Squarespace account?

Prior to starting a web design project with us you will need to create a Squarespace account to provide us access. If you need help setting up your account we are happy to answer any questions as well as secure a domain through Squarespace if needed. (Squarespace fees are not included in project fees.)

+ What payment options do you offer and do you offer payment plans?

Our accounting is managed through Harvest and processes payments through e-checks on PayPal. We also accept payment through Venmo and Chase Quickpay and can process payments by credit card with an additional convenience fee ($0.30+ 2.9%).

+ What design software do you use for your projects?

Designs for our clients are designed with the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop). We can also design graphics and templates in Canva when requested.

+ Do you customize your branding and web design packages if I don’t fit into one on your website?

Absolutely! We have created general packages based on client inquires but everything is 100% customizable. Let us know what you need for your business and we will create a custom proposal and quote just for you.

+ Do you offer website training after launch?

Yes! Following a website launch we will show you the ins and outs of the back-end of your website so that you feel comfortable with the platform. However, we are always a call or email away if you need any help or support in the future.

+ Do you offer refunds or what is your cancellation policy?

Please refer to your project agreement for full terms and agreements. In the event of termination, the client is responsible for all fees incurred and will forfeit license to use any preliminary designs. Project deposits are non-refundable and all fees are non-refundable after project completion.
