After having the same website for over a decade, it was time to help this New York City public relations and marketing agency with a refresh and we were the team to make it happen! Because the business has a well established reputation, it was very important to maintain the brand integrity and aesthetic while also finding ways to modernize it.
Some of the main focuses of the project were to find a way to keep past branding elements from their old website while breathing a little more life into the refreshed design. Creating a responsive website that looked great on all devices with an emphasis on mobile was also a top priority. When their website was first created browsing online wasn’t even a thing so that was definitely a top priority.
Keep their current logo and integrate colors from the logo into the design
Maintain key branding elements in design including product tree
Present text elements in an interesting way to break it up and add visual interest
Here’s a look at how the design turned out! On the homepage we focused on answering the key pillars of who they are and what they do and then they also wanting to include a feed highlighting their latest blog posts.
The about page was focused on adding more information on their business mission and pillars.
Next up was the services page to give more insight to the services they offer and how they make it happen!
Then the last main page was their blog page. They have long had a Tumblr blog and wanted to maintain the way that was set up so we added in the feed with a widget and matched the branding to be cohesive with the website. We also added in the other social feeds.
And that does it for this project! Simple, updated and optimized for mobile (and every other type of device)!
