Tell us your bold boss story!:
I went to school for illustration and began my career by interning at Target headquarters, illustrating my first published children's book, and illustrating for local magazines while still in school. I've always loved hand lettering, patterns, travel and drawing! Since then my work has been used for print ads, editorials, books, stationery products, & textiles.
I also have a passion for teaching. Helping others find and express the creativity that resides inside of them is at the core of what brings me joy. I began teaching when I left my first job out of school and fell in love with it. I teach workshops and speak about creativity at events and online and I have been teaching college illustration and design courses for 8 years. Currently I am an instructor at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle.
